Man dies in car accident in California

A collision that left one man dead is one of at least two serious incidents recently reported. The car accident in California involved two cars with at least one victim who succumbed to his injuries. Details of the events were shared in a local newspaper.

The man who has been identified as the victim in the crash is a 74-year-old man. He was driving a sports car that was struck in the late morning of Tuesday, Dec. 5. The other car involved in the incident that crashed into the man's car was being driven by an 18-year-old woman.

Reports tell that the woman was driving southbound when her car clipped the man's sports car on the driver's side. As a result of the accident, the man was critically injured. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately he later died. The female was treated for her injuries at the scene of the accident, and she was later released.

At least one other person was killed recently in a local California accident, which demonstrates the deadly commonality of vehicular accidents. Even if all drivers operated their vehicles with full attention and sobriety, sometimes a car accident would still occur. If a person does choose, however, to drive in a distracted, intoxicated or negligent fashion, that person is more likely to cause harm to others and is responsible for the effects of those actions. A person who is the victim of such irresponsible driving is entitled to receive awards for any damages that occur. An experienced personal injury attorney can possibly help the victims with filing a claim for damages.
